English to Georgian: translate relationships before rearranging words
One verb can involve several participants
An English sentence about giving, sending, or showing something identifies an actor, an item, and a recipient. Georgian can encode agreement with more than the subject inside its verb. That makes a clearly described relationship more useful input than a collection of English keywords. State who sends what to whom before translating a delivery instruction or an account of a transaction.
If two people have just been mentioned, replace an ambiguous English he or her with a name where that name belongs in the message. This is particularly helpful in a sentence such as she sent her the details. The translator should not have to invent which person receives the information while also choosing the Georgian verbal form.
Keep the complete event when changing time
Georgian verbal series affect case marking and agreement as well as time and aspect. Changing an English report from a current action to a completed past event may therefore require more than replacing one word in the target. Translate the revised clause again instead of retaining all the surrounding Georgian noun forms automatically.
For an appointment message, distinguish a recurring visit, a planned visit, and a visit that has already happened. English expressions such as I go there and I went there contain a difference that matters beyond vocabulary. Include a time phrase when the practical meaning depends on it, rather than expecting an isolated verb label to express the entire situation.
A short Georgian word can contain an English phrase
The documented contrast სახლი, house, and სახლში, in the house, shows why counting words is an unreliable quality test. A relationship expressed by a separate English preposition can appear attached to the Georgian noun. Do not insert spaces or repeat an English-style preposition merely because the translated phrase looks shorter.
Another example is სახლია, is a house: the copular element can be attached to the noun. These compact forms are useful reminders when checking labels or accommodation descriptions. Read the completed meaning before deciding that the output has omitted something. The target is not required to mirror English spacing or assign a separate written word to every grammatical function.
Different kinds of not need different meanings
Georgian distinguishes არ, not, from ვერ, not able, in relevant constructions. An English message saying I cannot come should communicate inability rather than merely a neutral negative statement about coming. If you mean that permission is denied or a technical obstacle prevents an action, explain that reason in ordinary English.
The final review should follow the situation: who acts, who receives the action, when it occurs, and whether a negative expresses inability or another limitation. These questions are especially valuable for instructions and cancellations. Save a successful translation with the source sentence, so a later change in recipient or time triggers a fresh translation rather than an unsafe local edit.
