Bashkir reference and Telugu participant choices
A source we can split into two target groups
Bashkir беҙ includes the speaker but does not by itself specify whether the addressee is included. Telugu distinguishes these group relationships. A message that looks like a simple collective statement can therefore require a target decision about the reader’s participation.
Vemuri’s Telugu reference contrasts “mēmu”, we excluding the person addressed, with “manam”, we including that person. These romanised illustrations make the difference visible without treating transliteration as a replacement for normal Telugu script.
For a Bashkir message about paying, travelling or meeting, establish whether the reader is being invited into the action. A statement about the speaker’s family doing something is not automatically inclusive merely because the family is speaking warmly to a host.
Likewise, a plan agreed by both participants should not become a report about an outside group. The lexical action can be correct while the target pronoun changes who is expected to take part.
A respectful you can still concern one recipient
Bashkir familiar һин and respectful or plural һеҙ provide a distinction that Telugu also expresses through its own address forms. The resemblance is useful, but it does not eliminate the need to identify the audience.
The Telugu lesson contrasts “nuvvu”, familiar you, with “mīru”, respectful singular or plural you. In a Bashkir customer request, respectful address should not be read as evidence that several customers receive the instruction.
The reference also demonstrates that the verb changes with the pronoun used. Selecting an appropriate target address word while retaining a verb from an unrelated familiar example can produce an inconsistent result. Review the clause as one expression of the relationship.
Third-person forms carry more than the source pronoun reveals
Bashkir ул can mean he or she. Telugu distinguishes several third-person forms involving gender, respect and proximity. A single generic translation of the source pronoun cannot cover every such setting.
If a source sentence names somebody before using ул, preserve that identity when selecting the target reference. A profession alone is not evidence that the person is male or female, and a respectful form should not be replaced with an intimate one just because it is shorter.
This is important when translating a message about a teacher or older relative. The source may express a relationship through the surrounding description rather than through a distinct third-person pronoun. Inspect that description before deciding the target form.
Ownership needs its own participant check
Bashkir possessive endings can identify an owner inside a compact word. Telugu distinguishes possessive forms and forms used when the possessed item is omitted. The target should preserve both whose item is meant and whether the source still names the item.
For a source reply about a book belonging to the reader, trace the owner independently from the person handing it over. A respectful addressee can be the owner, the recipient, both or neither.
When saving a useful translation, keep enough of its noun phrase to recover that relationship. Reusing a short answer about yours for a different owner or item can fail even when the original sentence was accurate.
