Azerbaijani arrival messages in Cyrillic Serbian
A past first-person statement can require speaker gender
Azerbaijani first-person past predicates identify the speaker without selecting a masculine or feminine agreement ending. Serbian compound past constructions can require that distinction even when a short source update leaves it unstated.
The contrast “ја сам дошао” and “ја сам дошла” illustrates male and female speakers saying that they arrived. The target ending concerns the person speaking in that clause, not the listener receiving the message.
An Azerbaijani update entered on another person’s behalf should retain the original speaker. The typist’s identity is not automatic evidence for the Serbian agreement. Use a source introduction or the established conversation to interpret whose arrival is reported.
An offer can change with the audience relationship
The Belgrade phrase reference distinguishes “Изволите” from “Изволи” for polite and familiar offering. These forms illustrate a relationship within an actual speech act, not a general word to add to every translated Azerbaijani greeting.
Azerbaijani siz and sən likewise distinguish social address in their own way. A source respectful offer should be evaluated through the complete Serbian construction rather than by adding a polite-looking salutation to a familiar clause.
Number remains a separate issue. A source respectful siz can concern one person, whereas actual plural reference concerns several. Identify who receives the offer before interpreting the target’s plural-associated polite form as a literal group.
Source person and target case mark different relationships
Azerbaijani case and possessive endings identify such roles as recipient and owner. Serbian also inflects noun phrases, but its forms cannot be assigned by copying a source suffix or matching a case label without the target construction.
An arrival message can ask the listener to give a third person a document. The person arriving, the person asked to act and the eventual recipient may all differ. Keep those source roles separate before checking target nouns and pronouns.
A changed Serbian name ending can reflect case without introducing another person. Conversely, repeating a familiar dictionary name form everywhere can remove information needed by the target phrase. Check the name within its predicate or preposition construction.
Cyrillic presentation should remain consistently Serbian
This option requests Serbian in Cyrillic writing. Serbian uses both Cyrillic and Latin, but a script choice is not permission to replace the target with Russian or another language using similar letters. The grammatical sentence remains Serbian.
Preserve the full Cyrillic target forms rather than inserting Latin letters that merely look the same. A mixed-script name or word can be hard to search or copy even where its appearance seems familiar.
For this direction, establish who speaks in the arrival update, who receives any offer and which person owns or receives an item. Those decisions preserve the Azerbaijani exchange while allowing Serbian past agreement, courtesy and case to appear in its own Cyrillic forms.
