Azerbaijani emphasis and Yoruba ownership claims

A fuller target pronoun can preserve contrast

Azerbaijani can emphasise a person through an independent pronoun while its predicate also marks person. Yoruba has ordinary and emphatic pronoun sets whose distribution depends on the construction. The target form is not chosen merely by whether the source pronoun is written separately.

The Texas course contrasts ordinary first-person “mo” with emphatic “èmi”. They do not constitute two freely substitutable spellings of I in every environment. A source correction identifying the writer rather than somebody else can require the contrast to remain in the target.

Do not remove a fuller Yoruba expression as redundant just because the source verb already identifies the actor. Conversely, a neutral Azerbaijani report should not acquire emphasis automatically because a saved target phrase used an emphatic form. Read the source purpose and the complete target construction.

Naming a possession differs from saying it is mine

Yoruba “tèmi” means mine in the documented possessive system. It can supply an ownership claim rather than simply name an owner beside a following noun. Azerbaijani possessive morphology needs to be interpreted according to whether the source names somebody’s item or corrects the owner of an item already mentioned.

For an Azerbaijani exchange about a document, a noun phrase naming my document differs from a reply asserting mine. The target construction can change while the owner remains the same. A short target form is not automatically an omitted noun if the claim appropriately stands alone.

The owner’s sex is a separate question. Azerbaijani o leaves he versus she unspecified, and Yoruba possession does not require a matching male-versus-female ending in every phrase. Preserve the actual person through the source context rather than invent a gendered form.

A future plan uses the target predicate structure

The teaching expression “Mo máa lọ” means I will go in its illustrated pattern. The target action does not need an Azerbaijani-style future or person suffix attached to its final letter. Separate target material can carry information packaged differently in the source.

For an Azerbaijani travel plan, determine whether the writer announces a future journey, reports a departure already completed or describes a habitual trip. The same destination can occur in all three. Keep the source time and event meaning with the predicate.

Negating the plan requires its own target construction. Adding one general no beside an otherwise unchanged affirmative phrase cannot be assumed to preserve every source negative. Check whether the source denies intention, ability or the journey itself.

Tone marks are not Azerbaijani stress notation

The marks in these Yoruba examples belong to its tonal and orthographic system. They should not be deleted or redistributed according to Azerbaijani pronunciation habits. Familiar Latin letters do not imply the same sound distinctions.

Azerbaijani siz can also address a respected individual or a group, so audience number must be established independently from the emphasis and ownership choices above. The listener need not be the document’s owner or the person travelling.

For this direction, review contrastive actor reference, the form of the ownership claim and the journey’s status. Those decisions preserve the Azerbaijani message while allowing Yoruba to organise pronouns, tone and predicate material in its own way.
